Terms of booking
Levin Lapinkylä Oy observes the following terms for ordering and booking accommodation services and for cancelling the booked services.
These terms are binding to both parties, once the customer has made the reservation. The person making the reservation must be legally competent.
Internet booking
An Internet booking is to be paid in full with a credit card or via a banking service at the time of booking. When paying for the booked service, the customer must make sure that they return to the booking confirmation page after the payment transaction. In case the customer does not return to the confirmation page, it is possible that no booking will have been made.
Levin Lapinkylä Oy is not liable for an unsuccessful booking. If the customer does not receive a confirmation of booking and a receipt to the email address they have provided, they must contact Levin Lapinkylä Oy without delay. The customer is responsible for printing the receipt, the description of the destination and the terms of booking.
Terms of cancellation for single bookings
The cancellation must ALWAYS be made in writing to Levin Lapinkylä Oy.
If the customer cancels their booking no later than 28 days before the date of arrival, they are entitled to a refund of the advance booking payment and the final payment, less €80/hut as a cancellation fee. If the cancellation is made later than 28 days before the start of the rental period, the customer will be charged the entire rent.
The cancellation is considered to have taken place the moment that information of the cancellation reaches Levin Lapinkylä Oy.
In case the cancellation is due to the fact that the customer or their next of kin suddenly falls ill, has an accident or dies, the customer is entitled to get their money back, less the cancellation fee €80/hut.
A medical certificate or other reliable document on the cause of the cancellation must be forwarded to Levin Lapinkylä Oy within 14 days of the cancellation. The cancellation must take place before the start of the rental period. If the customer changes the time period of the reservation, this will be considered to be a new reservation and a cancellation of the previous reservation.
The right of Levin Lapinkylä Oy to cancel a booking
In case of a force majeure or other impediment beyond the control of Levin Lapinkylä Oy, such as fire or water damage, Levin Lapinkylä Oy may cancel the booking. The customer is then entitled to a refund of all rent payments made. If payments related to the booking are not made in time, Levin Lapinkylä Oy is entitled to cancel the reservation.
Handing over the key
Our reception is open daily from 15:00 to 18:00. Our staff will be present then to greet you and check you in. If you should arrive at some other time of the day, please let us know in advance by email at levin@lapinkyla.fi or by telephone at +358(0)400225240.
We charge €10 for a lost key and for coding a new key.
We charge €30 for unlocking a door at night.
Staying in a holiday hut
The holiday hut is at the customer’s disposal from 15:00 on the day of arrival to 11:00 on the day of departure.
Bedclothes, linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price.
Smoking is not allowed! If the customer has been smoking in the accommodation facilities, we will charge the cleaning expenses, min. €300.
Damage
The customer who made the booking is liable to compensate Levin Lapinkylä Oy for intentional or unintentional damage caused to the accommodation facilities or movable property in it.
Number of persons
Only the number of persons listed as the max. capacity of the apartment are allowed to use the accommodation facilities.
Complaints
All notices and complaints regarding the accommodation facilities and their condition must be addressed directly to Levin Lapinkylä Oy without delay as soon as they appear, during the holiday. In case the issue cannot be fixed, the customer is entitled to make a written complaint to Levin Lapinkylä Oy, for further processing, within a week of the end of the stay. If the customer has not contacted Levin Lapinkylä Oy about any defects during their holiday, they will lose their right to compensation.
If the customer and Levin Lapinkylä Oy cannot reach a mutual understanding, the customer may bring the dispute before the Consumer Disputes Board.
Levin Lapinkylä Oy is not liable to compensate for any inconvenience or costs to the customer that are due to natural conditions, insects, unexpected changes in the weather, problems caused by third parties, or interruptions in the water supply or power failures. We reserve the right to make changes.
